Every handmade tufted gun-tufted carpet begins with a worker manipulating a tufting gun that weighs over 5 kilograms (more than 10 jin). The worker holds the tufting gun and, with the help of the tool’s force, densely pierces wool yarn into the base fabric. Through the coordination of strength and precision, the initial shape of the carpet is outlined.

Robotic carpet weaving enables efficient integration of design and manufacturing: designers are responsible for determining the weaving path scheme for the carpet patterns, while robots operate with precision according to preset instructions to complete the automated weaving process of the carpet.

Stepping into a machine carpet weaving workshop, automated production is its most distinctive feature — no excessive manual intervention is required, as the production line can accurately complete the carpet weaving work in accordance with preset programs.

The pile leveling process of handmade carpets embodies the ultimate craftsmanship: workers must firmly hold the pile leveler and perform dozens of fine leveling treatments on the surface of each carpet. Through repeated manual polishing, the carpet is endowed with a delicate and smooth texture.

Workers complete the carpet edge wrapping through pure manual work, which is then reinforced by the edge ironing process. The combination of these two procedures makes the carpet edges tight and firm, significantly improving the carpet’s durability.
